1. The service

TerraMap provides map tiles, map styles, SDKs and location APIs (together, "the service") to account holders. Access is authenticated with TerraMap API keys and is subject to these terms.

2. Accounts and API keys

You are responsible for activity carried out with your API keys. Publishable keys (tm_pk_) are designed to be visible in browsers and mobile applications and should be restricted to the origins or applications that use them. Secret keys (tm_sk_) must be kept on trusted servers and never embedded in a client application.

3. Acceptable use

The service may not be used to bulk-extract, mirror or resell the map data or tiles, to reconstruct a competing tile or place database, or to circumvent usage metering or rate limits.

4. Usage and credits

Use of the service consumes TerraMap credits from your account balance. Different services consume different amounts. Pricing, packages and billing terms will be published before TerraMap becomes generally available.

5. Availability

TerraMap is in active development and is provided without a service level commitment at this stage. Any service level terms will be published separately.

6. Map data and attribution

Map data is derived from OpenStreetMap and is available under the Open Database License. Applications using TerraMap maps must keep the attribution visible. The TerraMap Web SDK is derived from MapLibre GL JS (BSD-3-Clause) and its licence notices must be preserved.

7. Changes

These terms will change as the platform reaches general availability. Material changes will be published on this page.
